How This Game Is Being Built

Deadhead isn't built the traditional way. There's one developer—me—but I'm not writing most of the code by hand. Instead, I direct a swarm of AI coding agents, each assigned to a different system: one handles the world and lighting, another builds the player controller, a third manages the zombies and their AI.

It's like being a general contractor who never picks up a hammer. I write specifications, review pull requests, and make design decisions. The agents write the code, run the tests, and fix the bugs. When something doesn't work, I point them at the problem and let them solve it.

This is an experiment in a new way of making games—and so far, it's working.
